NAB Show today announced the 10 up-and-coming companies invited to participate
in a new NAB Show program, SPROCKIT. Featuring game-changing, market-ready
startups, SPROCKIT will provide a platform for emerging companies to connect
with and present before media and entertainment influencers at the 2013 NAB
Show, scheduled for April 6-11, 2013 in Las Vegas.

Recruited for their innovative mobile, video, analytics and social
technologies, and their high potential to have a considerable impact on the
media and entertainment industry, the SPROCKIT companies offer a window into
the future of content creation, management and delivery. The 2013 SPROCKIT
startups are the following:

Content creation-focused companies:

    companies to stream, edit and distribute clips and highlight reels from

    HBO GO to college students on their terms: wherever they are, whenever
    they want, on all their devices.
  *The Whistle is the first sports media destination and community for kids,
    distributing pro and local sports on platforms kids use: TV, VOD, mobile,
    Internet and gaming.

SPROCKIT companies will have broad exposure at NAB Show to present their
insights and innovations to industry decision makers, thought leaders and
investors. The SPROCKIT program includes a live presentation stage, panel
discussions with NAB Show's industry leaders and opportunities to meet with
C-level executives. SPROCKIT companies will also be featured within NAB Show
sessions like Turner Broadcasting's Start-Ups: Powering the Media
Metamorphosis session on Monday, April 8.
