Absolute Software solutions - Absolute Computrace, Absolute Manage, Absolute
Service and Absolute Secure Drive - provide healthcare organizations with the
ability to manage and secure their IT endpoints and the data they contain.
Absolute Software allows Healthcare organizations to respond if a device is
missing or stolen, if data is breached or compromised, or if the status of a
device is unknown - safeguarding patient information and allowing
organizations to prove data security in support of compliance with regulations
such as HITECH/HIPAA.
In early 2013, Absolute Software announced a multi-million dollar deal with a
Fortune 100 Healthcare organization. The Healthcare organization selected
Computrace as an essential component of its governance, risk management, and
compliance (GRC) infrastructure for its entire population of desktops and
laptops.
