COLUMBIA, Md. -- March 1, 2013

The Board of Trustees of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT or the
Company) (NYSE: OFC) announced in its February 28, 2013 press release that the
Company’s Board of Trustees declared quarterly dividends payable on April 15,
2013 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2013.Since the last trading day
on the New York Stock Exchange prior to the record date is March 28, 2013,
shareholders will need to be record holders on March 28, 2013 to be eligible
for the dividend.
