("Galaxy" or "the Company") announces that it has settled the second tranche
("Tranche 2") of a A$20 million (before costs) funding facility with Deutsche

Carbonate Plant ("Jiangsu Plant") and subsequent site inspection by Deutsche
Bank - a condition of the Tranche 2 funding.
Galaxy confirms it has received A$10 million (gross) under the two-tranche
financing arrangement with Deutsche Bank. The first A$10 million (gross)
tranche ("Tranche 1") settled on 17 December 2012.
