Michael Reed Appointed to Chief Technology Officer at Echo Global Logistics 
Mr. Reed Driving an Agile Model of Technology Development --
Previously Held Vice President, Information Technology Role 
CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 02/28/13 --   Echo Global Logistics,
Inc. (NASDAQ: ECHO), a leading provider of technology-enabled
transportation and supply chain management services, announced today
its interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Michael Reed was
officially appointed CTO for the company. He had served as interim
CTO since April 2012.

Mr. Reed began his tenure with Echo Global Logistics in 2007 as a
Lead Application Developer, and has held several positions including
the Director of Product Development and Vice President, Information
Technology. Prior to joining Echo Global Logistics, Mr. Reed
cofounded Digerati Solutions, a privately owned software development
and consulting company.  
Mr. Reed holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering
from University of Michigan.
