DALLAS -- February 28, 2013

Global data center services provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) is slated to be
an exhibitor at the Oil and Gas High-Performance Computing (HPC) workshop Feb.
28, from 7:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. The workshop takes place in Duncan Hall at Rice
University in Houston, Texas. CyrusOne has teamed up with R Systems to share
details of their HPC cloud-based solution with workshop attendees.

The annual Oil and Gas HPC workshop is the premier meeting place for
networking and discussion focused on computing and information technology
challenges and needs in the oil and gas industry. Attendees are expected to
include leaders from the oil and gas industry and the HPC and information
technology (IT) industry, as well as academics and representatives from
national laboratories.

“High-density computing is a critical component of delivering financial
performance in the oil and gas industry,” said Fred Holloway, vice president,
channel sales, CyrusOne. “Companies use HPC to more rapidly analyze large
amounts of geological data to enable wiser operational decisions and faster
go-to-market strategies. We are at the workshop to engage in an open dialogue
with attendees about the constantly changing technology landscape and the
important part colocation facilities play in traditional and cloud-based HPC
solutions.”

CyrusOne specializes in highly reliable enterprise data center colocation,
engineering facilities with the highest power redundancy (2N architecture),
and power-density infrastructure required to deliver excellent availability.

CyrusOne is housing and enabling the first-ever enterprise HPC cloud solution
from Dell and R Systems. Together they have established a working “project
partner” alliance, offering customized HPC solutions for clients. Customers
opting for the cloud solution leverage dedicated, secure, and powerful
computing resources for periods between one day and one year. The enterprise
HPC cloud solution empowers companies to align performance compute directly to
project periods and technology refresh cycles, to optimize resources, and take
advantage of the fastest compute technology available.

“HPC cloud solutions are an alternative to legacy IT infrastructures because
they are faster to deploy, easily scale to uses and business cycles, and
require less capital and operating investment,” said Holloway. “The enterprise
HPC cloud solution frees companies from having to manage HPC environments and
resources so that they can focus on running their businesses, not data
centers.”

CyrusOne has designed 24 carrier-neutral data center facilities across the
United States, Europe, and Asia that give customers the flexibility and scale
to perfectly match their specific growth needs. In 2012, the company began
building in Texas the first statewide Internet Exchange in the country.
Connecting all major sites in Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, the
offering is scheduled to formally launch first quarter 2013.

CyrusOne is renowned for its exceptional and personalized customer service
that is designed to build enduring customer relationships and high customer
