Jyrki Mäki-Kala, Chief Financial Officer of Kemira will leave the company as
of May 5th to assume the corresponding position in Neste Oil Oyj.

"Jyrki has made a significant contribution in developing Kemira with his
financial and business understanding. I want to thank Jyrki for his great work
to reorient Kemira in the direction of EBIT 10 and wish him all the best in
