ZUG, SWITZERLAND-Transocean Ltd. (NYSE: RIG) (SIX: RIGN) said it plans to
report earnings for the three months ended December 31, 2012, before trading
beings on the SIX Swiss Exchange ("SIX") on Monday, March 4, 2013.

The company will conduct a teleconference call at 10:00 a.m. EST (4:00 p.m.
CET) on Monday, March 4, 2013. Individuals who wish to participate in the
teleconference call should dial +1 913-312-0407 and refer to confirmation code
8254413 approximately five to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of
the call.

In addition, the conference call will be simulcast through a listen-only
