MONROVIA, Calif., Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- STAAR Surgical Company
(NASDAQ: STAA) today announced that it will release its financial results for
the fourth quarter ended December 28, 2012 on Wednesday, February 27, 2013
after the market close.  The Company will host a conference call and webcast
on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern / 1:30 p.m. Pacific to
discuss the Company's fourth quarter results and recent corporate
developments. The dial-in number for the conference call is 877-941-0844 for
domestic participants and 480-629-9692 for international participants.

The Company will also be using slides to illustrate its fourth quarter results
and operational progress.  The slides and live webcast of the call can be
