"Quanta was founded 15 years ago with the belief that our nation's energy
infrastructure needed significant upgrade, expansion and replacement and that
a national specialty contractor would be essential to meeting that need.
Quanta has grown forty-fold since its initial public offering and listing on
the New York Stock Exchange in February 1998, becoming one of North America's
leading electric power, natural gas and pipeline infrastructure services
providers," said Jim O'Neil, president and chief executive officer of Quanta
Services. "We expect demand for our services to remain strong as utilities
invest in electric power infrastructure to improve reliability and North
American pipeline infrastructure is developed to harvest resources in
unconventional shale and Canadian oil sand regions. We believe Quanta's future
is bright and we look forward to many more years of success."

Members of Quanta's management and board of directors will join O'Neil as he
rings the closing bell at 4 p.m. Eastern. For photos and video of Quanta's
