SVENSKA CELLULOSA AB GETS 119 MILLION-EURO LOAN FOR PAPER MILL

[Frankfurt am Main, 28 January 2013] On 16 th January 2013 Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget SCA signed a € 119 million Syndicated Loan Agreement funded by KfW “Energieeffizienzprogramm”. It serves for investing in a paper mill in Germany.

IKB acted as Bookrunner and Mandated Lead Arranger. IKB is also Agent on this transaction. Further relationship banks joined in syndication. The syndication closed oversubscribed.

SCA is a global hygiene and forest company that develops and produces personal care products, tissue, publication papers and solid-wood products. Sales are conducted in some 100 countries. SCA has many well-known brands, including the global brands TENA and Tork as well as the local brands Tempo and Zewa.
