[Frankfurt am Main, 28 January 2013] On 16 th January 2013 Svenska Cellulosa
Aktiebolaget SCA signed a € 119 million Syndicated Loan Agreement funded by KfW
“Energieeffizienzprogramm”. It serves for investing in a paper mill in Germany.
IKB acted as Bookrunner and Mandated Lead Arranger. IKB is also Agent on this
transaction. Further relationship banks joined in syndication. The syndication
SCA is a global hygiene and forest company that develops and produces personal
care products, tissue, publication papers and solid-wood products. Sales are
conducted in some 100 countries. SCA has many well-known brands, including the
global brands TENA and Tork as well as the local brands Tempo and Zewa.
SCA creates value by fulfilling the needs of customers and consumers in a
spirit of innovation, through continuous efficiency enhancement and with a
clear desire to sustainable development. Net sales in 2011 amounted to SEK 106
billion (€ 11.7 billion). SCA has approximately 37,000 employees.
