Checking accounts now offer range of custom add-ons

customize their checking accounts by choosing features that are most important
to them.

M&T Bank has always offered its customers a variety of checking accounts
designed to meet their everyday banking needs. Customers of M&T Bank now have
a greater ability to personalize their checking accounts with features that
offer more convenience, control and protection. A monthly fee may apply to
add-on services, although certain premium checking accounts qualify customers
to select a number of custom add-ons with no monthly fee.

M&T Bank checking account customers can select from the following custom add
ons:

  o No M&T fee at other banks ATMs
  o Refund of other banks' ATM fee
  o No fee for overdraft protection transfers
  o Standard checks and safe deposit box
  o Access to FICO credit score online, updated monthly

To qualify for these additional features, customers must meet certain
requirements; customers can learn more about the details by visiting a branch,
MTB.com or by calling 1-800-724-2440. The added features are in addition to
those already available with M&T checking accounts, which vary depending on
the type of account. Some of these features are: M&T check card, M&T mobile
banking, M&T alerts, domestic wire transfers, travelers checks and discounted
personal loan rates.
