MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitalize Consulting Solutions (VCS)
and maxIT Healthcare, wholly owned subsidiaries of Science Applications
International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI), announced they have achieved top
ten rankings on the 2012 Best in KLAS Awards: Software & Services report
(©2012 KLAS Enterprises, LLC. All rights reserved). VCS and maxIT ranked
fourth and seventh in the Overall Services Firms category, respectively. KLAS
publishes the annual report to help improve service delivery, by independently
measuring vendor performance for the benefit of healthcare provider partners,
consultants, investors, and vendors.

In addition to the Overall Services Firms ranking, maxIT Healthcare made the
list for the new category ICD-10 Consulting, ranking fourth out of only six
companies that qualified with KLAS Konfidence. Both VCS and maxIT Healthcare
ranked highly in the Clinical Implementation Principal and the Planning and
Assessment Category. Both firms meet this benchmark by offering services in
areas including clinical implementation support services, planning and
assessment, and staff augmentation.

The rankings follow SAIC's recent acquisition of maxIT Healthcare, which
strengthened SAIC's capabilities to provide electronic health record (EHR)
implementation and integration services to its commercial healthcare customers
across North America, as well as its strong base of Federal healthcare
customers as they move toward the use of commercial off the shelf (COTS) EHR
applications. Together with VCS and maxIT Healthcare, SAIC is able to leverage
its expertise in systems integration, life sciences and advanced data
analytics to assist providers as they begin to personalize and deliver
value-based healthcare.

"The Best in KLAS report is an excellent benchmark for the industry, and we
are pleased that our customers have rated us highly once again," said Steve
Comber, SAIC Health Solutions Business Unit general manager. "We will use the
data in the report to work with our customers even more going forward to
ensure the solutions and services we provide are helping them achieve their
goals of improving patient care and reducing costs."
