Wins 12th investment award in 10 years
TORONTO, Feb. 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Trimark Investments, part of Invesco Canada

ceremony held last night in Toronto. Taking top spot in the Global Small/Mid
Cap Equity Fund category over 3 years, Trimark Global Small Companies Class
was named best fund out of 24 funds.
The Lipper Fund Awards pay tribute to those funds that have excelled in
delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance, relative to their
peers.
"This latest recognition from Lipper is further evidence that Trimark's
disciplined, value-oriented investment style continues to drive performance
that is among the best in the Canadian investment industry," said Peter
Intraligi, President, Invesco Canada. "Through some extremely challenging
markets the Trimark Investments team's unwavering commitment to our
time-tested discipline is clearly paying off for investors."
This Lipper win is the most recent in a number of investment awards bestowed
on the wider Trimark Investments team over the years, and the twelfth for the
Trimark Small-Cap Equities team in the past decade(1).
"In an environment like today's, where uncertainty is rampant, global
investing is more important than ever," said Rob Mikalachki, Trimark
Investments Head of Small-Cap Equities and lead manager on Trimark Global
Small Companies Class. "It gives you the flexibility to search jurisdictions
anywhere in the world to find the very best investment ideas; an approach that
has proven to be a winning strategy for delivering lasting value to our
investors."
With Trimark Global Small Companies Class, Mikalachki, Virginia Au and Jason
Whiting invest in a focused portfolio of exceptional small-cap companies
throughout the world with sustainable competitive advantages and demonstrated
growth potential.
This is the second win in recent months for the team, after Trimark U.S. Small
Companies Class was named best U.S. Small/Mid Cap Equity Fund at the
