Presentation Description: 
Come listen toJackie Brock-Doyle, OBE, Director of Communications & Public 
Affairs for the London 2012 Organizing Committee speak about her incredible 
international experience and how she created inspiring and strategic 
communications plans using many of the tools you use every day. Jackie has 
designed and directed communication, media and sponsorship programmes for some 
of the world's biggest brands and events in countries across the world, 
including Visa International, the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, 
Cadbury and the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games. She was also head of 
Public Relations and Media Relations duringLondon's successful bid for the 
2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 
Jackie's presentation will focus on her two passions in communications: 

    --  the importance of vision and providing inspiring strategic
        communications that reach well beyond the marketing efforts of
        a company
    --  the integration of strategic communications into tactical
        pieces like social media, crisis plans and government relations

Jackie Brock-Doyle'sBiography:

Jackie has been involved with the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games for a 
decade.She was one of the first people hired to work on the bid in May 2003 
as Head of Public & Media Relations.Following the successful bid, Jackie 
became Director of Communications & Public Relations; a job she still holds 
now during the final wrap up months.

Jackie has also been involved in other major sporting events. For example, 
Jackie created and directed communications campaigns for the Sydney 2000 
Olympic and Paralympic Games including the Olympic Torch Relay, the Ticket 
Marketing Programme, the Volunteer Recruitment Programme and the National 
Education Programme.She also directed communication leveraging programmes 
for some of the leading sponsors of the Sydney Games, including Westpac 
Banking Corporation, AMP, Cadbury, Samsung, Coca-Cola and Swatch.

For the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games Jackie directed the communications, 
marketing and media relations programme as well as issues management. She 
has also created communication strategies for the Commonwealth Games 
Federation and for the Doha 2006 Asian Games Committee.

Jackie was winner of PR Week Awards 2012's PR Professional of the Year as well 
as winner of Campaign of Year for the London 2012 campaign.
