Aetna Names David A. Queller President of National Accounts
HARTFORD, Conn. -- February 4, 2013
Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced it has named David A. Queller as the new
head of National Accounts. Queller will lead the National Accounts
organization in delivering innovative and integrated benefit solutions that
drive measurable health and productivity improvement for its large employer
customers, and help them adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace. He assumes
his new role immediately.

business and leadership experience at Aetna will bring a unique perspective to

vice president and head of National Businesses. “He understands the needs of
our National Accounts customers, and is familiar with the pricing, network,
product, distribution and relationship management strategies that have made us
successful with these important customers.”
Queller has spent the last two years as president of Aetna’s Southeast region.
In this role, he has been accountable for network, profit and loss, and sales
for the region. In addition to his regional responsibilities, he plays an
active leadership role in Aetna’s enterprise strategic planning, performance
management, and business operations council.
Previously, Queller spent eight years in Aetna National Accounts. He led the
National Accounts organization for the entire eastern region of the country
for five years, consistently demonstrating positive results for the company.
During his tenure, Queller partnered with Aetna’s largest customers to provide
innovative and industry-leading solutions that focused on wellness, integrated
care, and JD Power accreditation for customer service excellence.
He began his National Accounts sales and account service career as head of
North Texas and Oklahoma. He has held previous leadership roles with
ChannelPoint, Prudential Health Care, and CIGNA HealthCare.
