Health Management Associates, Inc. (NYSE: HMA) announced today that on
February 14, 2013 it will report results for its fourth quarter and year ended
December 31, 2012.

Health Management will issue a press release after the market closes on
Thursday, February 14, 2013. At 11:00 a.m. (ET), the next day, Friday,
February 15, 2013, management will host a conference call to discuss results
in further detail. All interested investors are invited to participate in the
