True film aficionados will enjoy using SMC's easy-to-follow Oscar®-A-Day
calendar to see what's on that day. The calendar, available at
sonymoviechannel.com/oscar, lists air times and other interesting facts about
the respective movies. The Channel is also highlighting Oscar movies by
posting interesting facts every day in February on its Facebook page
(Facebook.com/SonyMovieChannel).

SMC has curated an outstanding schedule of memorable motion pictures dating as
far back as Frank Capra's Best Picture Award-winner IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT from
1934 and MR. DEEDS GOES TO TOWN from 1936, which won for Best Director. The
schedule also includes Best Picture winners A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS from 1966
and OLIVER! from 1968. Other films nominated in that top category will also be
featured such as DR. STRANGELOVE (1964), CHINATOWN (1974) and THE BIG CHILL
(1983).

As the Academy Award® nominees attend pre-Oscar® galas on Saturday, February
23, SMC is treating its viewers to an entire day featuring all Oscar® movies.
In fact, the whole weekend is about the Academy Awards® on SMC. On the day of
the Awards, Sunday, February 24, the Channel is devoting its programming to
the male star with the most Oscar® acting nominations ever – Jack Nicholson.
The network is airing his early films, including CHINATOWN; DRIVE, HE SAID;
EASY RIDER; THE FORTUNE; THE KING OF MARVIN GARDENS; THE LAST DETAIL; THE
PASSENGER; THE TWO JAKES; FIVE EASY PIECES and A SAFE PLACE. For specific
times, please visit SMC's website at sonymoviechannel.com/schedule.

In addition to profiling Academy Award®-recognized films throughout the month,
SMC is honoring Black History Month on Tuesday nights in February, featuring
some of the industry's top African-American stars. And, for those not
interested in the big football game, SMC is turning its programming over to
romance films on Sunday, February 3.
