                      NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR SHAREHOLDING

The  company  was  notified  today  by  Invesco  Limited  that,  following  an 
acquisition of voting rights,  through a chain  of controlled undertakings  it 
now holds indirectly voting rights in the company through ordinary shares over
212,071,075 ordinary shares.  This  amounts to 15.03%  of the company's  total 
voting rights.
