BlackRock Municipal Target Term Trust Announces Issuance of Additional Remarketable Variable Rate Muni Term Preferred Shares in a Private Offering Business Wire NEW YORK -- January 30, 2013 BlackRock Advisors, LLC today announced that BlackRock Municipal Target Term Trust (NYSE:BTT, the “Fund”) has successfully sold an additional $250 million in Remarketable Variable Rate Muni Term Preferred Shares (“RVMTP”) to a qualified institutional buyer (the “Purchaser”) pursuant to an offering exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933. As announced on January 10, 2013, BTT has entered into an agreement with the Purchaser to issue and sell up to $750 million in RVMTP securities to the Purchaser. Under this agreement, the Purchaser is obligated to purchase, until March 31, 2013, an additional $250 million in RVMTP, upon request of the Fund, subject to certain conditions being satisfied.
