    Senior Research Analyst to Lead Specialty Retail and Broadlines Sector

NEW YORK -- January 22, 2013

Wells Fargo Securities, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC), announced
today that Paul Lejuez will be joining Wells Fargo Securities as a managing
director and senior analyst in the Equity Research Department covering the
Specialty Retail and Broadlines sectors.He will be based in New York, jointly
reporting to Sam Pearlstein and Todd Wickwire, co-heads of Equity Research at
Wells Fargo Securities.

Most recently, Lejuez was the senior Specialty Retail and Broadlines equity
analyst for Nomura Securities. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years at
Credit Suisse, rising through the firm to become its senior Specialty Retail
analyst. At his previous positions, Lejuez established and maintained a highly
regarded Specialty Retail franchise, with his team ranking #3 in the 2012
Institutional Investor All-America Research poll. Lejuez holds both a Bachelor
of Science (Magna Cum Laude) and Master of Science degree in Accountancy from
Wake Forest University. Additionally, he holds Chartered Financial Analyst
(CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations and is a licensed
Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
