recipient of the sixth annual Crown Media Family Networks/Parents Television
Council “Crown Award”, honoring companies that align with quality,
family-friendly programming through responsible advertising. The award was
presented to Tim Smucker, Chairman of the Board, The J.M. Smucker Company and
Richard Smucker, CEO, The J.M. Smucker Company on behalf of the company, on
Tuesday, January 15, 2012 at the company’s Orrville, Ohio headquarters. Bill
Abbott, President and CEO of Crown Media Family Networks (CMFN), Ed Georger,
Executive Vice President, Advertising Sales for CMFN and General Manager for
Hallmark Movie Channel, and Tim Winter, President, Parents Television Council
(PTC) were on hand to bestow the honor, which recognizes The J.M. Smucker
