AMTRAK CASCADES, EMPIRE BUILDER AFFECTED NORTH OF SEATTLE

Amtrak Cascades and Empire Builder Services Affected by Mudslides North of 
Seattle
Alternate Transportation Being Provided  
BNSF Railway Co. has imposed a suspension on passenger train operations between 
Seattle and Everett, Wash., due to multiple mudslides north of Everett, through 
Friday evening, January 11. 
Alternate transportation will be provided for Amtrak Cascades and Empire 
Builder trains. 
Passengers who have paid but choose not to travel due to this service 
disruption can receive a refund or a voucher for future travel. Some 
reservations booked online can be modified or canceled on Amtrak.com or by 
using the free Amtrak mobile app.
