Rémi Marcoux announces donation of shares of Transcontinental Inc.

MONTREAL, Jan. 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Rémi Marcoux, founder and member of the board of directors of Transcontinental Inc., (the "Corporation"), announces that Capinabel Inc., a corporation controlled by him, will donate approximately 160,000 Class A Subordinate Voting Shares of the Corporation to education institutions pursuant to the notice of intention to distribute securities from a control block filed on January 7, 2013.

While there is no current intention to acquire or dispose of additional securities of the Corporation, Rémi Marcoux and corporations controlled by him may, directly or indirectly, trade in securities of the Corporation in the future, depending on market prices and/or other circumstances and considerations.
