WellPoint, Inc. (NYSE: WLP) announced today that senior management is
scheduled to present at the 31st Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference on
January 8, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (12:30 p.m. Eastern
Standard Time). All interested parties are invited to listen to a live webcast
of the presentation by visiting www.wellpoint.com and selecting the
“Investors” link. Following the presentation, a webcast replay will be
available at www.wellpoint.com for two weeks.

WellPoint also announced that it will release fourth quarter 2012 financial
results on January 23, 2013, at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”).
Management will review these results and its outlook during a conference call
