For the eighth time in the last 10 years, Wells Fargo Shareowner Services has
won the Transfer Agent Leader Overall North America (TALON) large agent award.
The 2012 winners were selected by issuers and evaluated on a variety of
customer service functions, including call center operations, reorganizations,
knowledge and responsiveness. Leading the “Large Agent” category in 20 areas,
Wells Fargo Shareowner Services received the highest rating for overall
customer satisfaction. Issuers were polled in the annual Transfer Agent
Comparison Survey, which was released by Stockholder Consulting Services, Inc.

To benchmark the performance of the largest agents, Stockholder Consulting
Services, in partnership with Rutgers University Graduate School of
Management, developed the methodology for conducting this survey more than 19
years ago. In 2012, more than 1,000 companies participated in the survey via
email, evaluating overall satisfaction with their transfer agents. This year’s
survey also found that industry ratings for all agents increased since 2011,
further reinforcing that service agents continue to provide high quality of
service.
