Airline uses Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework to complete second
CALGARY, Dec. 20, 2012 /CNW/ - WestJet today announced the completion of its
second corporate social responsibility report, the first using the Global
Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework to report on economic, environmental and

WestJet reported against the GRI's key performance indicators in the areas of
economic, environmental and social performance. The airline self-declared an
application level C, which is intended for first-time reporting organizations.
WestJet's GRI report was reviewed with select indicators assured by Deloitte
and Touche LLP, thereby demonstrating our commitment to transparency and
demonstrating a leading practice in our industry.

that works with the United Nations Environment Program to make sustainability
