Leading German Economist Returns To International Stage At MIPIM 2013

PARIS, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- One year after he resigned from the
European Central Bank (ECB), leading German economist, Dr. Jurgen Stark,
returns to the international stage when he addresses MIPIM 2013 delegates on
March 14th at 10am, on the state of the financial crisis in Europe and how
member states can pull themselves out of that crisis.
Organised by Reed MIDEM, a subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions, MIPIM will be held
in Cannes from 12 to 15 March 2013.
Jurgen Stark was a member of the ECB Executive Board from 2006 to the end of
December 2011. A Secretary of State in the German Federal Ministry of Finance
from 1995 to 1998, he was the Personal Representative of the Federal
Chancellor during preparations for the G7/G8 Economic Summits. He then worked
for the Deutsche Bundesbank as Vice President in charge of European and
