Seamless Enters into Agreement with Nordic Service Partners Business Wire STOCKHOLM -- December 13, 2012 Seamless (STO:SEAM) – listed on OMX Nasdaq – has received yet another order for its mobile payments solution, SEQR. The new partner is Nordic Service Partners Holding AB (NSP), which runs 55 Burger King restaurants and owns the Taco Bar® trademark. The agreement with Seamless means that NSP can avoid the high fees of the card companies without making any investment. At the same time, the customers can use a simple and convenient mobile payments solution, SEQR. SEQR is a very simple app with which to make payments. All the customer needs to do is scan in a QR code at the checkout and then approve the payment with their chosen PIN. “It feels great to work together with NSP in offering a payment solution that is much faster, easier and more modern than that of the card companies. We’re moving towards a situation in which it is commonplace for most things to be concentrated in the mobile, and the ability to make payments via the mobile is becoming quite normal,” says Peter Fredell, CEO and President of Seamless Distribution AB. He continues: “Our SEQR solution moves mobile payments to the next level, because the solution is so simple that the retailers require no complicated installations or expensive hardware. Furthermore, SEQR halves the transaction costs compared with the costs for card payments.” Seamless is already one of the world's leading providers of payment solutions for mobile phones, and handles more than 3.1 billion transactions each year. It is the company's unique transaction platform that makes SEQR possible. Although the solution is based on a very sophisticated system, the retailer does not need to invest in any extra equipment or hardware for the checkouts to get started. Instead, when the customer chooses to pay with SEQR, the retailer saves large amounts of money because the fee is much lower than all other card payments and mobile payments. The agreement means that Seamless will receive revenues from Nordic Service Partners.
