Paramount Resources Ltd. (POU.TO) Raises $300m in a Bond Offering Led
by RBC Dominion Securities
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/11/12 -- The
Canadian Financing Bulletin has been a leader in tracking financing

In this week's report, the CFB published term sheets for 33 new
proposed placements from the mining, oil/gas (termed metals and
energy in the report) and technology sectors. Of those, 24 were for
mining stocks, six for oil/gas stocks, and three for technology
stocks, with the total value of new proposals reaching almost $168m.
Nine of these placements were designated a 'flow through' issuance
and there was one new debenture offering. The largest new public
proposal was by OceanaGold Corp (OGC.TO), which launched a share
offering consisting of 30m shares at a price of $3.11 for gross
proceeds of $93.3m in a placement led by Macquarie Capital Markets
The CFB published term sheets for 48 placements that were closed
during the week. Of these, 33 were for mining stocks, 13 for oil/gas,
and two for technology stocks, with the total value of these closings
being over $817m. 10 of these placements were designated 'flow
through' issuances and two debenture placements closed. The largest
public closing was by Paramount Resources Ltd (POU.TO) which closed
an offering consisting of $300m worth of 7.625% 7yr bonds in a
placement led by RBC Dominion Securities.
The CFB also tracked eight amendments, one cancellation, and one
overallotment to placements published at the end of the weekly
report. To date, there have been 430 weekly reports created by CFB;
