HumanaVitality^®, a comprehensive wellness and rewards solution that
incentivizes people to make healthier choices, has earned National Committee
for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation for Wellness and Health Promotion
with Performance Reporting. HumanaVitality is one of only 19 wellness
organizations in the United States to achieve this Accreditation.

NCQA’s Wellness and Health Promotion Accreditation comprehensively evaluates
key areas of health promotion, including how wellness programs are implemented
in the workplace, how services are provided to help eligible individuals
develop skills to make healthy choices, and how sensitive health information
is properly safeguarded. The Accreditation is a nationally recognized
evaluation that consumers and employers can use to assess wellness programs.

Through HumanaVitality, members are given a unique, personalized wellness plan
and are rewarded for making healthier lifestyle choices such as obtaining
preventive screenings, exercising, donating blood or getting CPR-certified.
For each healthier choice or activity, members receive Vitality Points™ that,
when accrued, allow members to achieve greater Vitality Status™ levels and
rewards opportunities.

To achieve the Accreditation, HumanaVitality participated in a voluntary
review process guided by NCQA standards that provide a framework of the
HumanaVitality member experience. Program policies and processes across
HumanaVitality and all partner organizations were thoroughly examined.

The Accredited with Performance Reporting status is granted to wellness and

NCQA’s standardized performance measures, in addition to meeting or exceeding
NCQA’s standards. Those standards are purposely set high and include
everything from employer and plan sponsor engagement, privacy and
confidentiality to engaging the population and incentives management, to name
a few.
