Qualcomm Introduces new NFC chip, Kindness Wave Seeks Crowd-funding and
UpTweet Launch New Website

QualcommInc, a world renowned creator of3G,4Gand other wireless
technologies, has announced the launch of its new ultra-low power near field
communication (NFC) chip, widening the scope for the inclusion of the
revolutionary payment technology in even more mobile devices.

The new chip is 50% smaller than the current industry standard, and also has
the ability to combine withQualcomm'sother range of wireless technology
chips to create a seamless wireless experience for consumers. The company's
current range ofsmartphonepartners will be able to integrate the new chip
into their devices immediately, with the option of fusing it with
theQualcommSnapdragonS4chip, smoothing out the roll-out process.

According toQualcommVP of product management DavidFavreau, the new chip
will help the company to achieve its goal of being "at the forefront of
delivering simple, easy to use solutions" for theirsmartphonepartners.

Kindness Wave, the brainchild of two enterprising grandmas from the USA, is
seeking additional capital from crowd-fundingwebsiteIndiegogo in order to
help it launch its brand new site to the public in time for the new year.

The two entrepreneurs are looking to raise $25,000 over the next two weeks in
order to create the Kindness Wavewebsite. The new social platform plans to
bring together charitable organisations and local communities in an attempt to
increase donations and raise awareness for various causes.

The site will select one preferred partner organisation each month, giving
them 10% of all revenues generated by the site's advertisement and merchandise
sales. Donors will be rewarded with various free gifts depending on the size
of their contribution, with gifts ranging from a freet-shirt, all the way to
the honour of selecting the site's first preferred organisation.

UpTweet, a new social media concept designed to boost the effects of
commercial tweeting, has launched its newwebsite this month, allowing
Twitter users to incorporate images, videos and other effects into their
messages.

The new concept will allow users to upload media rich content to
theUpTweetwebsite, before posting a snippet directly to twitter, thereby
encouraging users to click through and view the full message. The site also
acts as a social network in its own right, with users able to vote for their
favourite messages, with the most popular ones promoted higher up the site's
homepage.
