CLEVELAND, Dec. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- With the Dec. 7 deadline for
Medicare's annual enrollment period fast approaching, Smart Insurance Company

In addition to helping beneficiaries navigate the Medicare Part D landscape
and answer questions about Medicare's prescription drug plans, in-store agents
are available for consultations about which SmartD Rx plan may best suit their
health care needs. Those who participate in consultations will receive a
Walgreens voucher that can be redeemed for 5,000 Balance™ Rewards loyalty
points, worth $5 toward eligible purchases at participating Walgreens and
Duane Reade drugstores[1]. There is no obligation to enroll in the plan to
receive this voucher.

Smart Insurance Company was formed to find innovative solutions that allow
seniors and their caregivers to better understand and take advantage of the
prescription drug coverage options available in today's health care
marketplace.

"With so many options, it can be difficult to choose the most cost-effective
plan. One study last year found that nearly half of the seniors overspend on
their Part D plans, from between $300 - $1,000," says Smart Insurance Company
CEO Pritpal Virdee. "In my opinion, the best plan is one that will allow a
senior to maintain a relationship with a trusted local pharmacist, and at the
same time, lower your prescription costs. Our licensed plan agents can help
them do just that."

Medicare beneficiaries interested in meeting with an in-store agent can call
their nearby Walgreens store.
