Kratos Partners With BSC Partners to Develop New Aircrew Training Systems

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 4, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security
Solutions, Inc.(Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutionsprovider,
announced today that it has entered into an exclusive partnership with BSC
Partners, LLC (BSC) to produce aircrew training products and advanced aircrew
training technology through mutual company commitments in product development
and internal research and development.

Aircrew training is instrumental for completing successful aircraft missions
when multiple crew members must work together on a common process. Aircrew
duties during flights can include operations and maintenance of airborne
equipment, performing tactical duties as flight engineers or as loadmasters or
operating crew-served weapons.Kratos is a leader in advanced simulation and
training technology solutions, including past aircrew development products
such as the Medevac Crew Training System and Hoist Operations Training System
for the H60 aircraft platform.

"We are excited about joining forces with BSC to develop advanced aircrew
training solutions," said Jose Diaz, Senior Vice President for Kratos Training
Solutions. "We have had a long working relationship with BSC, and this
partnership provides a foundation for developing and producing the most
technologically advanced products to support the Warfighter."

"We are very pleased to be partnered with Kratos. This partnership combines
thestate of the art production facility of Kratos with BSC's 20 years of
experience in helicopter aircrew training systems, enabling our team to offer
customers a comprehensive, high quality solution for their aircrew training
requirements," said Greg Stanton, Chief Operating Officer at BSC Partners.

"With the tempo of military operations declining in Iraq and Afghanistan, the
U.S. armed forces will be putting more and more emphasis on homeland training
and training systems," commented Phil Carrai, President of Kratos' Technology
& Training Division. "That, combined with ongoing budget challenges, means
that deployed systems will be upgraded and their life cycle extended. This
creates an environment of opportunity for Kratos as we work together with our
partners to deliver cost effective solutions for aircrews and similar training
