CT Corporation Offers CLE-Accredited Educational Programs in a Single-Day Format Provided by Industry Experts

First Multi-Topic Full-Day CLE Programs Enables Legal Professionals to Receive up to 6 CLE-Accredited Educational Courses in a Single Day

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 12/04/12 -- CT Corporation, the highest quality provider of Corporate Business Compliance solutions and registered agent services for large businesses and the legal community that supports them, today announced the successful rollout of the first multi-topic full-day CLE accreditation program. CT Corporation is part of Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services.

Starting this November, CT Corporation began offering its first full and half-day in person seminars, enabling legal professionals to acquire up to 6 CLE class credits in a single venue. The company offers a full suite of complimentary CLE-accredited seminars and webinars throughout the year to keep legal professionals up-to-date and informed with current corporate business compliance law. Attendees of this year's inaugural single-day event were able to choose from five topics:

-- Ethics in Evolving Compliance Requirements 2012: Addresses how new
legislation aimed to combat terrorism, money laundering and tax
    evasion can create
a minefield of potential ethics conflicts for
attorneys acting as business formation agents.
-- Delaware's Business Entity Laws 2012: Provides best practices for
filing documents, paying annual franchise taxes, and formation and
post-formation provisions of Delaware's Corporation and LLC Acts.
-- Evaluating and Valuing Your Business Name: Examines the business
entity and trademark laws impacting a name and name selections, domain
    names and trademark laws.
-- The Corporation vs. the LLC 2012: Details the two most popular
business entity structures by key criteria and offers best practices
for formation, maintenance and dissolution of an entity to avoid
    costly administrative steps.
-- Service of Process- Navigating Potential Pitfalls Seminar 2012:
Provides best practices on how to avoid default judgment and
strategies to navigate the gray areas involved with service of
    process.

"In this complex and ever-changing regulatory environment it is important to not only understand the current lay of the land but also what lies ahead," said Garth Jacobson, senior government relations specialist, CT Corporation. "Judging from the audience response, most attendees were unaware of the compliance traps attorneys face and the associated ethics conundrums. This seminar provided essential information."

CT Corporation will roll out this one-day format as part of the 2013 CT Corporation CLE Essentials program and will also create programs specially tailored to meet the needs of advanced and introductory legal professionals.

"Legal professionals are busier than ever. This intensive program provides our clients with three key benefits in one day: CLE credits, peer networking, and an in depth view into mission critical compliance tools," said John Weber, executive vice president and general manager of the large-market CT-branded business.
