This is the third and final grant distribution cycle for the Entergy Charitable Foundation in 2012, bringing the year's total in grants awarded through the foundation to more than $2,980,000. Also supported are a holiday meal program in Jackson, Miss.; an arts education initiative of the South East Texas Arts Council Inc. in Beaumont, Texas; an Adventure in Reading program in New Orleans, La., and Christmas toys for needy children in Brattleboro, Vt.
