AGI Software Selected for Missile Defense Agency's C2BMC
Program Will Provide Advanced Capabilities to the Ballistic Missile
Defense System
EXTON, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/03/12 -- Analytical Graphics, Inc.
(AGI), the producer of commercial modeling and analysis software for
the space, defense and intelligence communities, has been awarded a
contract to provide software to the industry team led by Lockheed
Martin for use in the Command, Control, Battle Management and
Communications (C2BMC) training program for the Missile Defense
Agency (MDA). The C2BMC program is the "integrating element" for the
Ballistic Missile Defense System and links the various sensors and
weapon systems. The C2BMC program is integrating AGI's software
development kits STK Engine and STK Components into the C2BMC
training system to provide capabilities including threat missile
trajectory generation, inter-visibility calculations and intercept
trajectory creation. The industry team consists of Lockheed Martin,
Boeing, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.
"AGI is thrilled that our software will be contributing to the
modernization of the Ballistic Missile Defense System through the
C2BMC program," says Paul Graziani, AGI CEO. "The integration and
global synchronization of missile defense systems will critically
advance our nation's missile defense capabilities."
