MINNEAPOLIS -- November 30, 2012

Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading global provider of information for healthcare
professionals and students, announced today that Huntsman Cancer Institute at
the University of Utah has selected its ProVation^® MultiCaregiver as the
organization’s electronic health record and patient charting solution.

ProVation MultiCaregiver software replaces paper charting for perioperative
documentation, creating an electronic patient record throughout the procedural
continuum of care. Interfacing with vitals monitors, scheduling and patient
demographic systems, MultiCaregiver allows nurses, anesthesiologists and other
caregivers to quickly and accurately document care. It decreases time and cost
for documentation, reporting and management, thereby allowing for greater
workflow efficiency, documentation compliance and increased revenue.

Located in Salt Lake City, Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is part of the
University of Utah Health Sciences and cares for more than 30% of Utah’s
cancer patients. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated center in
the five-state Intermountain West and is a member of the National
Comprehensive Cancer Network. HCI manages the Utah Population Database, the
world’s largest genetic database with more than 16 million records, and its
researchers have identified a number of cancer-causing genes, including those
responsible for melanoma, colon and breast cancer and paraganglioma.

“Huntsman Cancer Institute is focused on understanding cancer from its very
beginnings and translating that knowledge into safer and more effective
treatments,” said Mike Haldane, Vice President and General Manager, Clinical
Documentation, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions. “We are pleased that
HCI has selected ProVation MultiCaregiver to help achieve its mission of
ensuring that each patient benefits from the most current understanding of
science and bedside care.”
