QATAR HOLDING MONETISES BARCLAYS WARRANTS
Doha, 25 November 2012 – Qatar Holding LLC (QH) announces that it has monetised its remaining holding of 379 million units of Barclays Plc (Barclays) warrants as part of its active portfolio management. QH’s investment in Barclays ordinary shares is unaffected by this transaction.
QH remains as the largest single investor in Barclays with an unchanged 6.65% shareholding through the ordinary shares and a substantial holding of Barclays hybrid capital securities. Barclays continues to be a long term strategic investment for QH and an important commercial partner.
