ATLANTA, Nov. 20, 2012

ATLANTA, Nov. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --Today, global consulting company North
Highland announces that board member Michael W. Trapp has been elected
non-executive chairman of the board, succeeding company co-founder and current
chairman, Dave Peterson. As chairman, Trapp's experience as a longtime member
of North Highland's board, coupled with his extensive experience advising
global companies will further support North Highland's international growth
and expansion.

"We thank Dave for 21 years of service, seeing North Highland grow from an
Atlanta startup to a worldwide consultancy of more than 2,500 employees," said
Dan Reardon, CEO of North Highland and Highland Worldwide. "His vision for
North Highland was to create a different kind of consultancy, where employees
felt ownership not only over their career, but their personal life as well.
This culture, so rare in our industry, is what has allowed North Highland to
flourish in today's marketplace. Peterson will continue to serve as a company
board member and support North Highland's unique consultancy model. With Mike
as board chair, he and our other internationally experienced board members are
positioned to help company management think through the issues that come with
global expansion," said Reardon. "We would like to thank Mike for assuming the
expanded responsibilities of chairman; he is familiar with our company's
culture and also brings a vast amount of large company board experience that
we have been leveraging."

In 1992, Peterson co-founded North Highland believing that the company would
serve clients locally with broad and deep consulting expertise and provide
employee ownership unmatched in traditional professional partnerships. This
innovative business model enabled North Highland to become a significant
player in the consulting industry, first in the southeast, then nationally,
now globally. The unique service commitment to clients embraced by the
employee-owners of North Highland empowers high quality service delivery and
builds long-lasting client relationships.

"It's amazing to see how far North Highland has come in the last 20 years and
I am excited to see where the next 20 will lead. Having Mike Trapp become
board chair is just another stage for us in a planned succession cycle from me
to Dan and on to the next generation of both management and board leaders,"
says Peterson. "Mike has been a business and civic role model for me since I
was a young consulting executive at Ernst and Young in the 1980's and 90's.
His integrity, style and professionalism are legendary," says Peterson.

Trapp has served on North Highland's board for more than 11 years, a longer
tenure than all but a few dozen company employees. He is also a member of the
board of the ANN INC. and Global Payments, Inc. He has been active in numerous
civic organizations.

Prior to joining North Highland's board in 2001, Mike had a successful 38-year
career at Ernst & Young where he served as managing partner of the southeast
region. He acted as senior advisor to many of the firm's Fortune 1000 clients
and was recognized as one of the firm's key leaders and innovators.

"I'm pleased to have the opportunity to extend my role with North Highland.
The company is well positioned for growth and I'm honored to use my experience
to add even more value to the global team here," said Trapp.
