ST. PAUL, Minn. -- November 16, 2012

Ecolab applauds the passage of bipartisan legislation in the U.S. House of
Representatives to establish permanent normal trade relations (PNTR) with
Russia.

In August 2012, Russia joined the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the
passage of this legislation is vital for U.S. companies to realize the full
potential of Russia's WTO commitments.

We urge the Senate to approve this legislation, which will help ensure that
U.S. companies are on a level playing field when competing with other global
companies in this important market.
