NEW YORK -- November 14, 2012

Monster®, the worldwide leader in successfully connecting people to job
opportunities and the flagship brand of Monster Worldwide (NYSE: MWW), today
announced its participation in Facebook’s new application for the Social Jobs
Partnership, a collaboration between the U.S. Department of Labor, the
National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the Direct Employers
Association (DE), the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA)
and Facebook. Monster brings its industry leadership to Facebook’s newly
launched effort to aid the unemployed, underemployed and transitioning
veterans, now making jobs easily available to millions of Facebook U.S. users
within the new Social Jobs Partnership app.

“Our participation in the Social Jobs Partnership is a continuation of
Monster’s strategy to expand our social presence and extend the ability for
our customers and job seekers to connect to great opportunities,” said Matthew
Mund, Senior Vice President Product Management for Monster Worldwide. “We’re
very excited to bring our unrivaled online recruitment expertise to the Social
Jobs Partnership app and join Facebook in their effort to help get Americans
back to work.”

Monster’s participation in Facebook’s Social Jobs Initiative continues its
media-agnostic approach to sourcing candidates for jobs. Making Monster jobs
available within Facebook’s Social Jobs app is a great complement to BeKnown™,
Monster’s professional networking app on Facebook. Once a Facebook user sees a
job of interest, they can use BeKnown to immediately see how they’re connected
to that job through their extended network of BeKnown connections and Facebook
friends.

“Facebook is all about connecting people and we’re thrilled to see developers
leveraging our platform to connect job seekers and prospective employers,”
said Marne Levine, Facebook’sVice President for Global Public Policy. “By
allowing job seekers to view and share job openings based on personalized
criteria, like location and industry, the Social Jobs Application builds on
our broader effort to help people use social media to find jobs in the US.”

Both Monster and Military.com, the largest community of military service men
and women, veterans and their families, will participate in the new Social
Jobs Partnership app along with other 3^rd party providers.

With Monster’s participation, Facebook users can now:

*View Monster Jobs from more than 400,000 Monster customers
*Click on a Monster job listing and be sent to Monster.com to apply
    immediately
*View military-friendly and veterans jobs from Monster and Military.com
*Use BeKnown to see how they’re connected to the jobs they want

The Social Jobs Application can be found in the resources section of the
Social Jobs Partnership page. In addition to the app, the Social Jobs
Partnership page provides specialized resources designed to help connect job
seekers and employers using social networks.
