CINCINNATI -- November 09, 2012

Chemed Corporation (NYSE:CHE) announced today that the Board of Directors has
declared a quarterly cash dividend of 18 cents per share on the Company’s
capital stock, payable on December 10, 2012, to shareholders of record as of
November 19, 2012. This represents the 166^th consecutive quarterly dividend
paid by Chemed in its 41 years as a public company.
