WHAT:  Natural Gas Boot Camp, a partnership training program between the
       Michigan National Guard and DTE Energy
WHERE: Building 329, Camp Grayling. Use the Military Road gate.
WHEN:  10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12

       Bob Richard, DTE Energy senior vice president, Gas Operations
       Veterans participating in the program, who have come to train from as
       far as the Detroit area, Kalamazoo and Grand Haven
       On this day after Veterans Day, it's important to note the continuing
       struggle that veterans have in finding employment once they return from
WHY:   active duty. DTE Energy has partnered with the Michigan National Guard
       to train unemployed veterans for jobs with MichCon. The program will be
       unveiled and discussed at this news conference.
