                          Update re ThinkEquity LLC

Panmure Gordon has been notified that ThinkEquity LLC, a business in which the
company had a 22.5% shareholding, and which ceased trading in October 2012,
filed for a petition for relief under chapter 7 of the US Bankruptcy Code on 6
November 2012. The value of Panmure Gordon's investment in ThinkEquity LLC had
been fully written down in the interim balance sheet as at 30 June 2012
published on 26 September 2012.
