Business Wire

LONDON & NEW YORK -- November 06, 2012

With the end of year £1.6bn ($2.6bn) UK Spinoff of Apple component maker,
Cookson Group (CKSN); analysis by deep-value global research specialist, TSR
reveals its UK/European Spinoff Deal Calendar has companies worth £146bn
($244bn) that it has identified will potentially break-up in 2013 to unlock

“Investors can now pay for TSR’s proven, +17% 2012 YTD outperforming

research through the normal course of trading”

                            Ryan Mendy, COO of TSR

Europe will see c30% (£47bn / $75bn) of those value unlocking deals from
sectors such as: consumer services, financials, healthcare, technology and oil
and gas. The largest break-up value (£99bn / $158bn) will emerge from the UK,
where TSR have identified significant stocks from the basic materials,
consumer services, financials and healthcare sectors.

With company stock values being distressed and in some cases, global activist
shareholders forming, TSR see inherent shareholder value from the potential
break-ups identified.

As the only research firm to cover every pure-Spinoff globally, TSR (The
Spinoff Report®), specializes in advising US, EU and global buy-side funds on
whether it’s absolutely more valuable to invest in small to large cap’
corporate Spinoffs ahead and/or after any given corporate break-up.

TSR’s Spinoff Advice Track Record

TSR run a Model Portfolio for clients that has traded over 100 pure Spinoffs.
It has outperformed every global index since inception. It has notably
returned +17% YTD to fund clients that track its research recommendation
portfolio of Spinoffs.

…And Finally! What’s more interesting regarding TSR’s outperformance is; I
noted they didn’t include Sears Holdings (SHLD) Spinoff from Dec 2011, and
they exited strong performing positions such as Expedia (EXPE) and
TripAdvisors (TRIP) back in the first half of 2012. So if that’s the case, as
of last week, with an average of 15 holdings, TSR must be discovering
significant value from other global Spinoffs to be outperforming the MSCI
World Index and S&P500 by +51% YTD (Oct 31^st, 2012).
