Alcoa (NYSE:AA) today congratulated Tesla Motors on the Tesla Model S electric
vehicle, an all-aluminum premium sedan, being named Automobile Magazine’s 2013
Car of the Year.

The body of Model S is a state-of-the-art, aluminum-intensive design and has
won accolades across the industry. It accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour
in 5.6 seconds, with zero tailpipe emissions.

In naming the Tesla Model S the 2013 Car of the Year, Automobile Magazine
