“Singapore is an important location both for western multinationals and for
Asian multinationals developing their international presence, and it was the
site of our first Asian office. It’s hard to think of many places with a
richer cultural mix,” said Hall, who is the CEO of Global Integration, which
offers training, consultancy and ideas in matrix management, global working
and virtual teams.
“It’s the way that people work in these increasingly matrixed organizations
that will determine their success or failure, and that’s where my company’s
expertise lies. It’s from years of experience that the book has emerged.
Although people have been talking about matrix management for years, there
hasn’t been a book that focusses down on the way people work together as a
factor for success – until now. Making the Matrix Work fills that gap,” added
“Singapore has continued to show amazing resilience whilst other parts of the
World have been dealing with recession. Singapore’s historical strengths,
pharmaceutical and bio-medical sectors, are areas where my company, Global
Integration, also has a history, helping companies shape up to meet the often
conflicting demands of tightening regulation and customer service. I am really
looking forward to Kevan Hall’s visit,” said T.H, Ong, VP, Global Integration,
