HONG KONG -- November 05, 2012

Management author and CEO of Global Integration Kevan Hall has chosen Hong
Kong as the Worldwide launch pad for his new book, Making the Matrix Work. The
book will officially be released next year, but Hall is visiting Asia in
December to preview the book tour – with Hong Kong first stop.

“Hong Kong is an important hub location for western multinationals but also a
gateway for Asian multinationals developing their international presence. It
is a place where different businesses, cultures and interests meet,” said
Hall, who is the CEO of Global Integration, which offers training, consultancy
and ideas in matrix management, global working and virtual teams. “It’s one of
the reasons I thought Hong Kong would be the best possible ‘first stop’ for my
book tour.”

Global customers, global supply chains and integrated internal functions like
HR and IT mean that people in Hong Kong are regularly working with colleagues
in other locations, cultures and time zones. Many have introduced some form of
matrix organization structure to cope with this complex way of working – today
people have more than one boss and have to get things done through influence
rather than authority and control. Hall’s new book is the first to focus on
the leadership and people management skills that make the matrix really work.

Author available for group discussion or one to one meetings with Hong Kong
executives on two dates

Kevan Hall will run a Group Executive Dialogue on Tuesday December 11, 2012,
and is offering one to one meetings with business executives on Tuesday
December 11, 2012, both at the Regus Conference Center or at executive’s own
premises. Hall will be accompanied by his company, Global Integration’s, VP
for Asia, T.H.Ong.

“We observe the changes happening in the market place. International companies
in the region have been reaching maturity and expanding internationally,
bringing with them organizational complexities,” said Ong. “It’s the way that
people work in those organizations that will determine their success or
failure, and that’s where Global Integration’s expertise lies. Making the
Matrix Work has emerged from over 18 year of training and consulting
experience with over 50,000 participants and 300 organizations around the
world. Although people have been talking about matrix management for years,
there hasn’t been a book that focusses down on the way people work together as
a factor for success – until now. Making the Matrix Work fills that gap.”

The sessions are designed for people who are either considering or currently
working in a matrix structure, identifying and discussing some of the key
challenges and how to address them with both Kevan Hall and TH Ong and with
other leaders and executives managing similar issues.

The one to one dialogues will be of particular relevance to people in the HR
function with responsibility for organization development, learning or
executive development. They will also provide a practical forum for senior
line business executives who are looking to improve the productivity and
efficiency when leading in a complex matrix structure. People who want to
attend the discussions can contact
