          AMEC plc (the "Company") - Total Voting Rights and Capital

                                       

 

In accordance with Disclosure and  Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company  would 
like to notify the market of the following:

 

As  at  31  October  2012,  the  Company's  registered  capital  consists   of 
314,677,449 ordinary shares,  of which  7,345,126 are  registered as  Treasury 
Shares, leaving a balance of 307,332,323 shares with voting rights.

 

The figure of 307,332,323 may be  used by shareholders as the denominator  for 
the calculations by which they will  determine if they are required to  notify 
their interest in, or change  to their interest in,  AMEC plc under the  FSA's 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
